  • Who can use CrowdChange Lite?

    Only users who can ensure that all funds raised  flow directly to a bank account of a registered organization (501c3, 501c7 or like-registered organization/association) and not to a personal bank account.

  • Is there a subscription fee to use CrowdChange Lite?

    No, there is no subscription fee to use CrowdChange Lite.  Transaction fees do apply.

  • What are the transaction fees?

    CrowdChange Lite includes a 6% transaction fee, along with standard credit card processing fees of 2.3% + $0.30 per transaction. You can choose whether the transaction fee is optional or mandatory for donors to cover at checkout. Optional Fee: Donors can choose whether or not to cover the fee. If they choose to cover it, your fundraiser will receive their full donation amount, and the fee will be added on top of their total. If they choose not to cover it, the fees will be automatically deducted from the donation amount during payment processing. Mandatory Fee: The fee is always added on top of the donation and paid by the donor. Transaction fees are processed automatically with each donation. Note: Upgrading to our standard CrowdChange subscription unlocks a lower transaction fee.

  • Do fundraisers require approval?

    Yes. All fundraisers created on CrowdChange Lite must be approved by the CrowdChange team. Approvals are typically completed within 1 business day. This step ensures: Safety and proper use of the platform and efficient triaging for users whose organizations already have national partnerships or campus-wide subscriptions, so they can be directed to the correct site.

  • How do I receive funds raised?

    You’ll securely connect your bank account through our Stripe integration. Once linked, you’ll receive automatic direct deposits on the schedule you choose (daily or weekly). CrowdChange does not process funds directly, and neither CrowdChange nor Stripe issue checks—payouts are always by direct deposit only.

  • What features are included?

    CrowdChange Lite includes only the essential fundraising tools, such as: leaderboards, personal and team fundraising pages, ticket sales, sponsorships, registration, and merchandise options, and basic reporting tools which include a full list of donors and detailed transaction information. Please note that CrowdChange Lite does not include access to the full suite of CrowdChange features. To unlock all features, you’ll need to upgrade to our standard subscription.

  • Can I upgrade to the full version of CrowdChange?

    Absolutely! You can subscribe to CrowdChange at any time. Important: Any fundraisers created before upgrading will remain on CrowdChange Lite. They won’t be transferred to your new site, but you’ll still retain access to them. Standard Subscription Pricing: $49.99/month OR $499/year.
